New Uncharted 4 Story Trailer Is The Best

We are now only two months until the release of Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and we have a new story trailer to get us excited!

The trailer, which you can see below has been described by Naughty Dog‘s Neil Druckmann as the “best trailer in Naughty Dog’s history.” The 140 second video focuses on the relationship between Nate and his brother Sam, including some flashbacks to when they were growing up. We also see plenty of action, along with some of the new faces appearing in Drake’s final adventure. Naughty Dog has also said that “plenty more” content to show in the lead up to the game’s launch including new screenshots, behind-the-scenes videos, and general game information. As we begin to get closer I can finally say that I’m not excited to play Uncharted 4. I just hope it lives up to the hype, although I’m sure it will!

Following yesterday’s Games With Gold announcement, we now have the PlayStation Plus lineup for the month of March. PS4 owners voted for Broforce as one of their games, and dimensional space shooter Galak-Z will also be joining the PS4 offerings. PS3 gamers will be able to enjoy top-down puzzle title The Last Guy and twin-stick shooter Super Stardust HD. Not forgetting you Vita owners, Flame Over and Reality Fighters will be the two games available on Sony‘s handheld. I don’t think I’m being overly biased when I say that Microsoft has again won the round of “free games” for this month. Hopefully there is something there for you to all enjoy.

Who remembers the ultra-violent PC shooter franchise Postal? Well apparently a remake of the original isometric third-person shooter is in the works. Called Postal Redux, this remastered version of 1997 classic from Running With Scissors will be arriving on PC and Mac this spring, with a release to follow on PS4 later on in the year. The new version will also include a Rampage Mode, which as you can probably expect will reward you for killing more people. Although I did enjoy the original Postal, I personally was a bigger fan of the sequel Postal 2, which was a first person shooter. Either way I imagine this will be a fun game to revisit.

The Division is now less than two weeks away and Ubisoft has released another trailer, this time for the PC version to showcase its “dedicated visual and technical optimisations.” The video, which you can see below, runs at 60 FPS and includes such features such as: dynamic global illumination, realistic weather particles, and more. I have to say this trailer does look impressive, and it does appear to be a visual improvement over the console versions. That isn’t surprising given the limited spec of the Xbox One and PS4, but at the end of the day it is only the visuals, the core game is going to be the same!

Scheduled to release the same week as The Division will be IO Interactive‘s latest Hitman game. In the build up to its release Square Enix has revealed details of a second beta, this time exclusively for PlayStation Plus members. The beta is scheduled to commence on March 4th and will run for the weekend before ending on March 6th. The beta will feature a prologue set in a secret ICA training facility where it will introduce the ICA along with Agent 47 himself and his handler, Diana Burnwood. This will be the last chance for gamers to get their hands on the game before its March 11th release. Unless the beta blows me away, I still maintain that I’m going to hold out for the full version, as I don’t want to support an episodic release.

That’s all for today.
